The Art of Loving

The weekend will focus on a gentle introduction to couples Tantric practices for deepening and opening the body, appreciation, love, connection & intimacy with your partner.  Time is set aside for private time, hiking, pampering or local adventure in between sessions.

 

This  particular offering is shared from Tara's personal home & summer retreat center, making it a more cozy and financially supportive. Looking for a lodge or resort location? Check back summer of 2026 for the early winter offering in Buena Vista, CO or somewhere in the southwest region.

on Saturday night in which all couples will wear white (off white or near white).

THE SPACE 

Our retreat takes place on 8 stunning private acres at the Earth Tantra Colorado Outdoor Center and Raven Wild Farm Stay (and BeeZen Huts) in Delta, Colorado. We honor this land as the ancestral territory of the Native American Utes, holding deep respect for history and spirit.

Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Grand Mesa to the north and the distant Elk Mountains to the east, this high-desert sanctuary sits at an elevation of 5,200 feet. The property offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty:

• Towering cottonwoods, elms, and vibrant trees like crabapple and maple

• Open fields, a small pond, loving lavender bushes and peaceful rabbit brush

• Hidden micro-spaces for privacy and reflection

• Bee therapy hut (with limited access)

Raven Wild Farm is also Tara's personal home. She loves sharing her home with others in retreat. The Art of Loving Couples Retreat is planned to gather in her cozy living room due to the nature of cooler weather this time of year.

 

WHERE TO STAY?

There are many airbnbs in Delta and Hotchkiss. We recommend staying at an airbnb vs hotel in the Delta area. Delta hotels don't really support a romantic feel. We recommend renting a vehicle if you are flying. Delta doesn't consistently offer UBER or other Rideshare this time of year.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How many people will attend? 

Space limited to ONLY 3 couples due to the cozy small space of Tara's house.. Quality over quantity is very important to us in creating a safe space to meet needs of a variety of people.

 

Can I read testimonials?

Absolutely. Scroll to the bottom of the page for testimonials throughout the many years Earth Tantra has shared Art of Loving Couples retreat for all couples. Tara has been guiding couples since 2016, and is trauma informed, trained & experienced (with youth and adults) since 1999.

What is included?   

• One optional 30-min optional pre-retreat check in phone session per couple - schedule here

• Minimum of 2 pre-retreat emails with optional tips videos, what to bring, etc

• Approx 8+ hours of Art Of Loving sessions & ceremony

• One 20-min private couple's check in session during retreat

• One 30-min post retreat check in session - good for up to 1 year after retreat

• Light snacks, filtered water/tea, mold free fresh ground coffee during the retreat

• Ceremonial supplies, 1 meditation cushion per person, blanket, etc​

Can locals attend?

Yes, locals are encouraged to attend! If you are driving more than 30 minutes away, we suggest staying the night in Delta to avoid the stress of driving at night.

Where can we stay the night?

Tara doesn't not recommend staying at a hotel in Delta. Our farming community doesn't provide comfortable hotel accommodations to support a romantic stay. We highly recommend staying at an AIRBNB instead.  Second option.... do you have a small self sustaining camper? Tent? We have no hook ups available, but have an outdoor heated shower and toilet house. Sorry - no inside access to the house outside of session hours. Schedule a time to talk with Tara now to see if camping will meet your needs for an additional $75.00 cash per couple for Friday & Saturday night (includes access to our special Apiary Therapy Hut - only 20 in North America).

Are there places to eat nearby?

Delta has many restaurants to meet many dietary needs. We will share a list of our favorites to meet all dietary needs in the group emails.

What about alcohol?

All Earth Tantra events are sober. Our farm is a alcohol and drug free wellness space with bees and other animals sensitive to mind alerting intakes. Thank you for respecting this. We move enough energy naturally with breathwork that you'll feel naturally high anyway :)

 

Is this retreat clothed?  

Yes, this retreat is fully clothed at all times.

Do you offer anything longer?  

Yes, private retreats OR  Feb 21-27th, 2026  Sensual Souls Advanced Retreat in Roatan. Art Of Loving will meet the prerequisite for Sensual Souls.

What if I'm a little uncomfortable? 

Each practice and session is always presented with options to adapt to each person's comfort level.  Comfort is a priority and we grow upon each practice step by step to ensure a gentle introduction for deepening your connection with your partner.​​

What can I bring?  

Comfortable warm and cool weather clothing due to spring weather, white ceremonial clothing, water bottle, AND one meaningful item (stone, photo, quote/poem, etc) to share on the alter - you will receive the item back.  If you are driving from home, we highly suggest bringing a personal blanket, yoga mat, extra pillow or cushion to stay warm and cozy with your beloved. Anything else to help you feel comfortable.  A more detailed list will be e-mailed a few weeks before the event.

 

Where are the closest airports?  

Montrose airport is only a 25 minute drive to Delta. Grand Junction is 1 hr. Denver airport is approximately 6+ hrs due to the mountain passes and weekend traffic on a Friday and Sunday.
